AAM AADMI PARTY - ARVIND - ANNA - SWAMI RAMDEV - Dr.JPN - Come Together Please

AAM AADMI PARTY

Arvind Kejriwal's Political Party is named as the “Aam Aadmi Party” and it now has a constitution for itself.

Nearly 300 founder members met at Delhi for the naming  ceremony and adopting the constitution.

It is understood that the party will put in all safeguards to avoid ‘One Family domination’ as prevalent in certain other parties.

We will all soon be witnessing how different will be the Aam Aadmi Party – in comparison to other Political Parties and what  difference will it make to the Parliamentary Democracy in India – what with nearly 1450 Political Parties already registered in India.

A Political Party, to succeed as an effective participant in the National affairs, needs certain pre-requisites.

These are the ones I feel, Arvind & Aam Aadmi Party as a whole, need to definitely adhere to – to achieve Success in their Journey :

Ø They must recognize some friends at least, in order to survive. Aad Aadmi cannot be against every Political Party in the country. Also, If Arvind and the Party cannot adjust with any one, this “Holier than Thou” attitude itself will wipe out the Party in a single Election.

Ø It must integrate with other like-minded parties like the Lok satta Party of Jayaprakash Narain, and maintain warm relations with the Swabhiman Manch of Swami Ram Dev. I would prefer the three – Aam Aadmi, Lok Satta and Swabhiman – to come under joint leadership of Swami Ram Dev and Arvind Kejriwal. If you can’t adjust even with equally sincere and like minded leaders – You may represent a few ideals – but, you will not really represent Aam aadmi (outside the Party).

Dr.J.P.Narayan
Anna Hazare
Swami Ram Dev

Ø

Having heard all anti-corruption leaders, I find, RAMDEV is one who always speaks on behalf of all Indians, irrespective of caste, creed, religion and region. He has always ensured participation of all religions in his Yog Sibirs and in his Swabhiman movement. Arvind can move honest Intellectuals with his speeches and efforts and he can speak English. But, Ram Dev can really ‘move’ any Aam Aadmi from the core of their hearts – but he does not speak much of English. And, he doesn’t make many enemies - which is a huge Plus for a Swami and for a Politician.

Ø Anna Hazare must be made to bless the COMBINED OUTFIT. Anna does have a charisma and Mass appeal which members of Team Kejriwal do not possess. Not as yet, at least. If Anna cannot bless Kejriwal, he may soon bless Ram Dev’s Swabhiman. At some level, One must enroll Kiran Bedi too. If Kejriwal cannot do it, she may join Swabhiman.

Ø We have examples like the Left front, whose partners remain as different parties – but, fight together in Elections. Either that, or as a single Unit – both should be explored as options.

Ø  Arvind Needs to recognize the reality that in the way India stands today, no one is allowed to remain CORRUPTION FREE, either as Giver or taker or onlooker. If the system limps back to corruption free atmosphere, Left front partners will come out of it voluntarily. I have no doubt about it. BJP also will far reduce its present levels of corruption and throw out the most corrupt, out of their party, if the Political atmosphere permits it. Many Industrial houses also will heave a sigh of relief if corruption comes down. So, there is just no point in making everybody an enemy and adopting a HOLIER THAN THOU attitude always towards everybody.

Ø  BE, BUT NOT SAY. Seek co-operation, seek changes, seek amendments, seek reforms – all in a spirit of co-operation. You can a see a lot of progress even before 2014 – in the general atmosphere of corruption in India.

Ø  Some Parties may be wedded to corruption and to caste based, family based rule and so on. Keep arms-length from them.

Ø  There are many Good Politicians in each Party – and many corrupt Politicians too in each Party. Choose, Pick out, eulogize and go out to make friends with such NON-CORRUPT POLITICIANS in each party, even while crusading against  the corrupt Politicians.

Ø  Majority can reform. Majority will reform.

Ø  Corruption cannot be the only Agenda. In my view, the other, Main agenda has to be as follows :

Ø  All Indians need  Good, Uniform Education. All people below Poverty Line must get FREE EDUCATION up to degree level.

Ø  The Education must promote Nationalism, Unity and Honesty – as an integral part of it. The lack of these three Goals in our education system is the worst calamity happening every day to India as a country. These common Goals of Education, if not adopted, India will always have corruption, terrorists, Naxalites, rapes, murders and all sorts of social ills. In my view, this is priority No.1 – even over Corruption.

Ø  We must set an Agenda to abolish birth-based caste system within 10 years time, absolutely completely, by law,  including caste based reservations. It is possible, desirable and essential. No one shall have a caste after 2020 and no one shall know his caste thereafter. But for caste, our ancient culture will continue with equal respect for every one.

Ø  Creation of Jobs and entrepreneurship among Indians must be the next priority. There should be encouragement for mass employers through Income tax, GST and other tax rebates. What state has to do, they are doing now.

Ø  Next, electoral reforms are very urgent. Minimum of degree for all electoral Posts, and PG for Parliament must be prescribed. OK. It can take effect from, say, 2015 or 2018. But, we must make this a Law. It is scandalous to swear by constitution without knowing a word of it. It is also scandalous for a person to become MP without having seen at least all state capitals and mingled with persons from all states. Many ills of India are due to Politicians who have never stayed outside their state even for 2 years.

Ø We must have strong relations with friendly countries and ensure strong defence ties also with them.

Ø Every Party functionary at state and apex level in Aam Aadmi Party must travel throughout the country – see all districts, meet people of all states, know their culture, their sentiments, their problems and so on. The last Politician who did it was None other than Mahatma Gandhi. Nehru did it to some extent and then Indira and Rajiv slightly less. No one else in any party is doing it after these leaders. We just don’t have a single NATIONAL LEADER  in India today. Regrettable, but this is the fact. At present, among all Politically active people, only Swami Ram Dev has done it – and is always doing it – despite not speaking in English. But, this is a prime necessity for all Political Parties in India.

Arvindji- and all other members of Aam Aadmi Party –

When People look at a white wall with a Black spot, most people stare at the Black spot and can't recognize that the wall is essentially white. That is wrong. Please do also look at the predominantly white wall. That is Bharat. Then, you will see that it is easy to wipe out the Black spots.

India is watching you more seriously than you think. India wants change. Progressive, Positive change from You. India wants Unity along with Progress. Not either this or that.

I wish You all - wholeheartedly - all the success,

Sd/-

AZMAL KASAB PAYS THE PRICE - THE TERRORIST HANGED - TERRORISM DOESN'T PAY - MAY THE SOULS OF HIS VICTIMS NOW R.I.P.

aZMAL KASAB
PAYS THE PRICE

MAY THE SOULS
OF HIS VICTIMS
NOW R.I.P.

From 26-Nov-2008 to 21-Nov-2012 – for almost 4 long years, India waited for the FAIR & JUST Indian legal process to come to an end, finally leading to the hanging of the International terrorist, Ajmal Kasab, who came from across India’s Borders to carry out the cowardly and dastardly terrorist attack in Mumbai.

He was the lone surviving gunman in the Mumbai attack of November 26, 2008 and he is understood to have been kept at the Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai all this time.

Finally, the entire Judicial process came to an end, including the rejection of the prayer for Presidential Pardon.

Now, thankfully, Justice has been done in the fiarest manner possible and Ajmal Kasab has been hanged in the high-security Yerwada Jail in Pune. May the Souls of his Victims now Rest in Peace.

The Terrorists across the border are still unrepentant and that is what India has to take serious note of.

The world should take note of the extreme Patience, sense of Justice and regard for legal process that India displayed in all these four years – despite clinching evidence of Kasab’s  crimes. There can never be more proof on any killing anywhere in the world, as India could produce before the world, in respect the terrorist attack and killings by Kasab and his accomplices.

If Pakistan is still in denial mode, it has to realize that this denial mode and the closing of eyes to terrorist activities on its soil are primarily responsible for all its ills, national and international.

Unfortunately, India also has to pay the price for Pakistan’s Blindness, being such a geographically close neighbor.

India and the rest of the world must never accept Pakistan’s argument, that it is itself a sufferer of terrorism. True, it is, but the  blame  for it rests squarely on Pakistan. It need not suffer terrorism – unless it wants to breed it on its soil. Terrorism in Pakistan directly stems from its “HATE OTHERS” system of Education. Until it stop its Hate campaign against others – it will have no right to talk of terrorism on its soil or elsewhere in the world.

If USA had to find out its MOST WANTED TERRORIST inside Pakistan and kill him there – Pakistan has to blame itself, for harbouring on its soil, such heinous terrorists against other countries like USA and India.

The President of India and the Government of India deserve warm congratulations. 4 years may be long by International standards – but in Indian conditions, it is not that long.

I only wish that the Government of India and the State Governments in India show GREATER RESOLVE in punishing the local bullies who take away our own FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION – and get away with it.

If we tolerate a known bully today, he will become ten bullies by next month, a hundred bullies by next year and who knows, he may graduate into a terrorist tomorrow. Let us not commit the same mistakes as Pakistan.

BALASAHEB THACKERAY - PASSES AWAY - A good leader - But, India today needs nationalist leaders very badly

BALASAHEB THACKERAY

PASSES AWAY

INDIA today has a huge leadership vacuum.

Mahatma Gandhi was truly a WORLD LEADER, who transcended just about every barrier that divides human psyche from each other – like, nation, country, race, religion, sex, caste, colour and any other conceivable barrier on earth, of which, there are many more.

He was admirably,  apolitically Political; He was multi-religious, and therefore no religion could truly claim him or, he could not claim to be of any single religion. He loved the people he fought with –and he did not fight against any one. He fought against practices, habits, prejudices, hatreds – not against people. He wanted power for people – not for himself. I love him as world leader. He was nothing short of it. And, there is none else like him.

After Gandhi, India had Jawaharlal Nehru as the next, tallest leader in the Indian political scene. Nehru was a truly International Political leader, who could see every international and national issue from an international perspective – and visualize solutions from such international perspective. India may have been a fledgling, poor country when he was around – but, Nehru was richly respected as International leader. If Panchsheel became a failure, It was because of the Chinese, not because of Nehru, who truly wanted a peaceful, progressive world order.

India did not have a truly international leader after Nehru. Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi displayed semblances of National leadership, gaining acceptability all over India, or, at least in most parts of it. They toured the whole of India, struck a chord among the common masses all over India, using English and Hindi both in their conversations, as proved convenient.

But that was the last of any National leadership India ever had. This is my frank opinion. I do not recall any Political leader having ever tried to reach out to the common man in all parts of India. The BJP’s tallest leaders, namely, Vajpayee and Advani were great leaders but they always spoke in Hindi in non-Hindi states also – and were least understood in those states.

No one else, from any Political party ever tried to strike a chord in the common man’s heart in all parts of India.

So, today, we have Political contenders appealing to small sections of Population - to vote for them. And, they find that, that much of vote is enough to make them win! These are hard electoral realities of today. Only about 50-60% of total electorate actually vote. This is the tragedy of India and this should change.

As matters stand, therefore, if 3 contestants are in the fray, whoever can get about 25% of total votes wins comfortably. That is real tragedy in a country which boasts of Democracy. Almost no one represents even the majority of actual voters, leave aside the total electorate. If some elected members have polled more than 50% of the total electorate, I think, their names need to be listed separately and they need a Big salute from all.

Electoral Candidates appeal for votes on the basis of caste, or caste groups, or linguistic basis, or religious basis and so on – and if that is not enough –only if that is not enough  - they appeal on a more accommodative basis – like, this group plus that group! And, many in that and this group fall for such carrots. People win on that basis! I do not find any one who appeals on a nationalistic basis beyond all barriers. Forget about international leadership. Even National leadership is totally – not almost – it is totally absent. Very rarely, someone like Sachin Tendulkar may say, I am an Indian first; or, Mumbai belongs to all Indians..and so on. But, he is not a Political leader at all.

Balasaheb Thackeray was a Political leader. He was, in my opinion, not a Maharashtra leader – but a Maratha leader. His appeal was always to the Maratha Manoos. But, a leader, he definitely was. And, he was a frank, outspoken leader with his own clear opinions on many national subjects – all of which emanated from his Maratha mindset. And, though he was not against any religion in particular, he was a Hindu Political leader essentially. And, essentially he was a good human being too.

We all join his party and his family in condoling his demise.

I always wondered, if only Balasaheb Thackeray was a more Nationalist leader, and if we had more such national leaders across the country, how fortunate India could be!

I wish that – at least two or three National leaders must emanate from each Political Party, and transcend the state, religion and caste barriers totally. They must sing the common man’s song. All of us, you, me and him – all of us – must wish for it. It can happen. It must happen. For India’s sake. For our sake. This division on every conceivable basis of all of us – is just SUICIDAL.

In Congress, Rahul can strive to become a National leader. He may take a few years for it. But, I think, he can. A few other younger leaders in Congress also should and they too can – provided, the Congress High command does not curtail their efforts.

In BJP, Arun Jaitley, Sushma Swaraj and NM can all become National leaders – but will they? Will they reach out to the masses across all states as effectively as Nehru, Indira Gandhi or Rajiv Gandhi did? They can – of that, I have no doubt – but will they? Will Sangh Parivar allow them to?

The communist Parties are prisoners of their ideology – and can’t come out of it. They can’t strike a chord in ALL PEOPLE.

All other parties are avowedly regional – with no thought what so ever of ever thinking National. Some Parties think of a few people in each village as their vote Bank and refuse to see the suffering of the rest.

Some Political Parties are based on fighting some imaginary enemy who is exploiting  them – but most of the so called exploiters they talk of are BELOW POVERTY LINE masses. But, these Political Parties too succeed in dividing masses and getting a chunk of the vote bank.

Bhagavad Gita started with the same foolish political ideology of DhritarashtraMe and Mine versus They.  Me and Mine” in Maha Bharat war could not see that “THEY” were never exploiters. Among "Me and Mine" also, most were innocent – and they all  became scapegoats for the Political ambitions of the "ME".

The same thing is happening in India from then, till now. Therefore do I strongly feel that India today needs strong nationalist leaders who think above all religions, castes, states, languages and other barriers.

Will we have a few of them? We need them - to unite us. We need them - to make India truly a united, prosperous, respected republic of India - in the world arena.

Then will come the time - to expect some international leaders too - from India

PRESIDENT OBAMA WINS THE RE-ELECTION - CONGRATULATIONS !

CONGRATULATIONS

Mr. PRESIDENT !

The Battle for US Presidency is over. President Barack Obama wins yet again.

It was a cliff-hanger campaign in which the Republican Challenger, Mitt Romney, put all his energies and all his arguments to counter the performance and promises of Barack Obama.

Romney had his logic and he almost seemed to have convinced the majority  by a slender margin with his arguments – but , Barack Obama based his campaign on solid Performance. Therefore, he has won a well deserved win - with a convincing Margin.

2008  to 2012, America has of course progressed a lot under Obama’s leadership. The Auto Industry is just one proof of it. The Job scenario is another. Ending the war in Iraq and Afghanistan does go well with the Americans. Bin laden’s annihilation is yet another. Jobs and health insurance for the Middle class is a definite crowd and vote  puller. Women’s health insurance is especially so.

All in all – President Obama is back in office – and promises to put US on the TOP.

Here are some excerpts from his victory speech:

Ø  Democracy in a nation of 300 million can be noisy and messy and complicated. We have our own opinions. Each of us has deeply held beliefs. And when we go through tough times, when we make big decisions as a country, it necessarily stirs passions, stirs up controversy.

Ø  These arguments we have are a mark of our liberty. We can never forget that as we speak people in distant nations are risking their lives right now just for a chance to argue about the issues that matter, the chance to cast their ballots like we did today.

Ø  We want our children to live in an America that isn’t burdened by debt, that isn’t weakened by inequality, that isn’t threatened by the destructive power of a warming planet.

Ø  We believe in a generous America, in a compassionate America, in a tolerant America.

Ø  Progress will come in fits and starts. It’s not always a straight line. It’s not always a smooth path.

Ø  Tonight you voted for action, not politics

Ø  You elected us to focus on your jobs, not ours.

Ø  The role of citizen in our democracy does not end with your vote. America’s never been about what can be done for us. It’s about what can be done by us together through the hard and frustrating, but necessary work of self-government. That’s the principle we were founded on.

Ø  The freedom which so many Americans have fought for and died for come with responsibilities as well as rights. And among those are love and charity and duty and patriotism. That’s what makes America great.

Ø  I have never been more hopeful about America. And I ask you to sustain that hope.

Ø  I have always believed that hope is that stubborn thing inside us that insists, despite all the evidence to the contrary, that something better awaits us so long as we have the courage to keep reaching, to keep working, to keep fighting.

Ø  It doesn’t matter whether you’re black or white or Hispanic or Asian or Native American or young or old or rich or poor, able, disabled, gay or straight, you can make it here in America if you’re willing to try.

Ø  Progress is not always a straight line

Ø  Thank You America.

Well.  His plans and promises for the future – Obama has made clear in his pre-election speeches. His tweets on these are in my previous Blog Post (Click on this URL : http://wiseinvestmentideas.blogspot.in/2012/11/barack-obama-his-tweets-art-of-fighting.html ).

Please do take time to read the Obama Election Tweets. They show how, many of the Indian Politicians need to mould their ways in fighting Elections.

They are impressive.

Hearty Congratulations,  Mr.President ! Wish You and America all the success. We look forward to the Best of relations between India and America.
